The first time President Barack Obama met Beyoncé he gave her a bit of advice: hire a masseuse.
In a new memoir, Power Forward: My Presidential Education, by the President’s personal aide de camp or “bodyman” Reggie Love, the world gets the details behind the first time the President met Queen Bey.

It was way back on Sept. 27, 2007, during the Democratic Primary. Obama and Love were sitting with Bey and her hubby Jay Z at New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
According to an excerpt obtained by People, Obama started talking to Beyoncé about her tour, which his wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia had just seen. That’s when Bey brought up how much her feet were killing her. We understand, we’ve all seen those heels she wears.
Obama, according to Love’s book, then joked, “You have to have a masseuse to massage your feet. That must be in the budget for the tour production.”
